General Dragalfos Bio

Description

This specific image is of an elite Dragalfos, Drigos. But I'm using him as an example of most of the elites.

Dragalfos are a race of fire-breathing monsters a lot like Dinolfos, Lizalfos, and Aerolfos. They are generally sadistic- often finding pleasure in the pain and torture of others. They're mentally slow, though. These beasts have been around since the days of the Moonfall. It's believed they came to be along with the other monsters that came with that time. They have remained in hiding over those years, but are finally showing themselves.

Young Dragalfos- winged or not- tend to be more animalistic and wild, often losing temper quickly. They will attempt to rip, mangle, or scorch anything that angers them. They're also not as bulky, but their wild nature still makes it hard for anyone to get close. Young ones tend to be faster than mature ones.

Mature Dragalfos are much larger and pack more muscle, but are slower thanks to bulk. Having survived many battles, these are placed at higher ranks among their kind. They have their temper under more control and are more focused, meaning they use more defense and are more apt to noticing any openings to attack. They can cover more distance in flight than young ones can. The Dragalfos live their lives following the orders of those they respect and fear- which aren't many. It is usually only those of their kind that they follow.

Certain areas of the skin are extremely difficult to pierce through due to having thick skin, but can be done with enough force.

Around the neck is less thick, and can be pierced far easier than most parts of the body, it wouldn't take much force for a sword to slice at the neck if you're close enough.

Another good weakness to note is the tail. It is often their most frequintly used weapon from behind, so slicing the tail off gives an advantage to getting close behind them.

The wings, especially, are soft-skinned and very thin, so can be pierced easily. Otherwise, it'd make flight rather hard if the wings were thick-skinned and bulky, too. Going for wings would keep them from escaping. Wings can also be used for high-jumps and maneuvers, another good reason to go for them.

A major weakness is between their horns on their heads. Here, there is almost always a soft spot. If hit hard enough, can knock them out and leave them pretty much maimed mentally, or even kill them. Their brains are closest to this soft spot. A Dragalfos will become extremely defensive if you're behind them for this reason. They will do anything to stop you from reaching this spot- which is where weapons on their tails come in handy for them.

Dragalfos belong to me.
